I've frequented this fine, family ran establishment a few times. Food is always good, fair prices. Worth the visit
Hoo boy does this place deliver. Its location is not for the faint of heart, but those bold enough to venture into the heart of the “international district“ will be rewarded with some of the best New Mexican food in town. I work nearby and have been working my way through the menu. So far the burritos, tacos, enchiladas, carne adovada, beans & rice, green and red Chile are all fantastic. It gets better every time I come in. It looks like they also have beer and wine on tap but I never tried it. Oh and it’s super reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You can also call In and pick up if you’re scared.
Had the Hot Tub Time Christmas party there tonight and the food was amazing. I had never been there before but the service was great, the food was great and prices were so good! Definitely will be going back!
Holy Moly! Delicious! New Mexico's quintessential red chile bacon burrito is perfectly manifested in physical (and spiritual) form at Bea's this morning. Just South of Central, the atmosphere radiates a fine and beautiful balance of some of the cultures of NM. An essence of Anglo-caucasian cheese radiates from the Wisconsin stop sign outside; the gorgeous Native designs and pueblo ladders emanate a calm, peaceful, and natural spirit throughout the restaurant; handcrafted with love - the pretty Mexican flower art on the walls, and lovely flower pottery hangs near the South windows; the Spanish ristra artwork showing proudly along the Zia in the Bea's sign. Timely and portions of plenty! Super friendly staff! Highly recommended!
I hadn’t eaten here in more than 16 years but used to enjoy lunch when I worked at KAFB. I had a layover and convinced a friend to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Delicious food, excellent service, and cute atmosphere. I got my New Mexican food fix with red and green chiles Highly recommend. Much better than Los Cuates and each meal comes with two sopapillas. A New Mexican classic. You can’t find food this good anywhere else.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in years. Was invited to an office dinner with coworkers for the holidays this is a family-owned restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious! Lupe was our server and I asked her about the history of the restaurant it's been around for 30 years if you want some of the BEST home-cooked Mexican dishes you need to go to Beas!
Bea's is authentic New Mexican food. Never had a bad meal eating here in 20 years. Highly recommend!
I used to live in ABQ about 16 years ago and this was my favorite place to eat authentic delicious NM food. I returned to ABQ this weekend and first thing this morning I went straight to the restaurant and I was so happy to see it survived the pandemic. 16 years later and the food was frickin delicious. The prices were super cheap and I ordered everything. My waitress was great. If you want good authentic New Mexican food come here. I ordered the Chile relleno plate, a tamale smothered in green, 2 beef tacos with amazing salsa and my wife had a breakfast burrito with no Chile because idk and a bean taco. haha. She said it was great.
